That's why I always try to stay healthy. Here are some ways that I do to stay healthy in the midst of a pandemic.
1. Eat a balanced nutritional diet
The first way to stay healthy in the midst of a pandemic is to always eat a balanced nutritional diet. Balanced nutrition means that it contains a variety of nutrients in portions that suit your needs, without eliminating certain types of nutrients.
Meeting daily nutritional needs with a balanced nutritional intake is very important to keep the body healthy and avoid various diseases.
Eat a balanced nutritional diet consisting of staple foods, protein, vegetables and fruit. In every meal, I always eat half of my dinner plate filled with fruit and vegetables. The other half of the plate contains carbohydrates and protein.
I also try to always cook myself. Cooking yourself is certainly more hygienic and economical.
2. Diligent in sports
On the sidelines of being busy as a housewife, I always make time for exercise. I usually do yoga at home. Or run on the treadmill.
Just 15-30 minutes a day of exercise. If routine, of course also good to increase immunity. So it's not easy to get sick.
Exercise also keeps me in shape. I have the energy to carry out all my activities.
3. Manage stress
Managing stress also affects the health of the body, you know. That's why I also try to manage stress.
It's true that during this pandemic, work increases. Apart from keeping busy as a work at home mom, I also have to be a facilitator for children's learning.
One way to manage stress is to keep giving time to yourself. Do me time for a moment. Usually I always make time to watch Korean dramas after I finish my activities. Watching Korean dramas is my favorite me time.
4. Maintain health protocols
Of course, in order to stay healthy in the midst of a pandemic, you must not be careless in carrying out health protocols. Even though I have been fully vaccinated, I still adhere to the health protocol.
Always wear a mask when you have to leave the house. Keep a safe distance and don't forget to wash your hands with soap after doing activities outside the home. Also limit activities outside the home.
5. Get enough sleep
Every day I always try to sleep for 7-8 hours a day. I need enough sleep to be healthy and fit in carrying out daily activities.
According to research, lack of sleep not only interferes with your health, but also makes you less alert and may be more confused, irritable and tired.
I try to avoid staying up late as much as possible. Even though there are many deadlines in front of my eyes, I try to complete them in my work time.
6. Take multivitamins
I also regularly take multivitamins. Even though you have eaten with balanced nutrition guidelines, multivitamin consumption is still needed.
Consumption of multivitamins keeps the body's needs for essential nutrients needed for the body to function properly. So my body can always be healthy.
I usually buy a multivitamin at an online vitamin store . I don't have to bother leaving the house. With a multivitamin routine, my body's health is more awake.
