Toyota's 5 Best Selling Cars at GIIAS 2021, New Veloz Becomes the Best Selling!
The 2021 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show ( GIIAS ) automotive exhibition will end in a matter of seconds.
Indonesia's largest automotive exhibition will end on Sunday, November 21, 2021 after being held for 10 days.
During its implementation, various automotive manufacturers tried to take advantage of the GIIAS 2021 moment to boost product sales.
One of them is PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) which reported the achievement of their car sales.
On Saturday, November 20, 2021 , Marketing Director of PT TAM, Anton Jimmy Suwandi, stated that Toyota car sales at the GIIAS 2021 reached 3,818 units.
This boosted overall car sales compared to last year in the same period (year on year/YoY).
"We are grateful that the Indonesian automotive market has grown, including for Toyota . At a glance from the list of sales that I got until October 2021 .
" Toyota car sales as a whole have reached 230 thousand units," he explained.
For the model, it turns out that the best-selling PT TAM sales at GIIAS 2021 are held by Toyota New Veloz.
Sales of this family car touched 701 units.
"Then in second place is the Toyota All New Avanza with 667 units, the third is Raize 607 units.
"The four Toyota Innova units are 508 units, and finally there are Fortuner up to 437 units," he said again.

They exhibited 22 units of cars consisting of special units such as electric vehicles, Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR-Series), and showcases for their passenger vehicles. .
